Neuromodulators, Dermal Fillers, and Fat Transfer

Dr. Hadeed is proud to offer a wide range of injectable treatments to help his patients look their best. Injectable procedures can provide incredible results without the long recovery periods associated with traditional plastic surgery.

Neuromodulators

Injectable neuromodulators treat wrinkles and fine lines in the face. These minimally invasive treatments work by preventing muscle contractions that cause wrinkles to form. This allows the skin to heal and wrinkles to fade.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is widely seen as the gold standard for neuromodulator injections and provides excellent results. BOTOX® injections are often used to reduce wrinkles between the eyebrows, forehead lines, and crow’s feet.

BOTOX® Cosmetic results usually last between four and six months but can be maintained through periodic follow-up injections.

Dysport®

Dysport® is another injectable neuromodulator that specifically targets deep wrinkles between the eyebrows. Like BOTOX® Cosmetic, it inhibits muscle movements on the forehead.

Dysport® results usually appear within three to five days and last up to five months.

XEOMIN®

XEOMIN® is a more concentrated form of botulinum toxin (which is also used in BOTOX® Cosmetic). It does not have as many excess proteins in the formula as BOTOX®, which makes XEOMIN® less expensive per unit but provides similar results.

XEOMIN® results appear after about four days and last between three and six months.

Jeuveau®

Jeuveau® is a neuromodulator injection only available from specific medical providers like Dr. Hadeed. It is comparable to BOTOX® Cosmetic in many respects but uses a different proprietary formula.

Jeuveau® results may appear slightly faster than BOTOX® Cosmetic and may last longer as well.

Dermal Fillers

Dr. Hadeed offers several types of dermal fillers. Injectable fillers work by replacing lost volume in the face with the injected material. They can fill in wrinkles and fine lines and enhance your facial contours.

BELOTERO BALANCE®

BELOTERO BALANCE® is a hyaluronic acid-based filler that restores volume and treats fine lines around your mouth and eyes (such as crow’s feet). Hyaluronic acid-based fillers can help restore volume by allowing your skin to retain water better.

BELOTERO BALANCE® results last between six and 12 months.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler used to treat wrinkles and fine lines around the nose and mouth. It is also used to enhance lips. JUVÉDERM® includes lidocaine to reduce discomfort during treatment.

JUVÉDERM® results will be visible within two weeks and will last up to a year.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is another JUVÉDERM® filler designed to restore volume loss in the cheeks and midface. Like other hyaluronic acid-based fillers, it allows the treated areas to retain water and restore plumpness.

Final results from JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC will take up to two weeks to fully develop and can last up to two years.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a longer-lasting hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler that treats volume loss and wrinkles in the midface. Lip injections of Restylane® can also treat volume loss in the lips.

Restylane® results will be visible within a week or two. The results of Restylane® injections will last 12 to 18 months, making it a more long-term filler.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft is designed to treat deep wrinkles and add volume and plumpness to the cheeks. The particles in Restylane® Lyft are larger than in the base Restylane® formula. This allows Restylane® Lyft to provide more plumping and skin lifting compared to traditional Restylane® injections.

Restylane® Lyft results will take a week or two to develop and last 12 to 18 months.

RADIESSE®

RADIESSE® is a calcium hydroxylapatite-based dermal filler. Unlike other dermal fillers, RADIESSE® stimulates collagen production, which strengthens the skin over time. RADIESSE® is used to treat deep wrinkles and folds in the mid and upper face. It is also used to reverse volume loss in those same areas.

RADIESSE® results will become apparent in seven to 10 days. Final results will take several months to develop as new collagen growth tightens your skin.

Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra® Aesthetic is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) based dermal filler. Like RADIESSE®, it stimulates collagen production in your skin. It is primarily used to treat deep wrinkles and creases in the face.

Sculptra® Aesthetic results can take up to three months to become fully visible and can last up to two years.

Fat Transfer

Fat transfer procedures use fat extracted from the patient to fill an area that has lost volume. This means that fat transfer is always done in conjunction with liposuction. Like dermal fillers, a fat transfer restores volume and can reduce or eliminate wrinkles and lines.

Unlike dermal fillers, the injected fat cells have no risk of causing an allergic reaction. Living fat cells also last longer than even the best dermal filler.

The procedure works by extracting fat deposits from areas of the body with excess fat. Your fat is then purified and injected into the target area. You may use fat transfers to enhance your lips, cheeks, buttocks, or any other areas that have suffered volume loss.

Fat transfer results may take several weeks to develop as the fat cells adjust to their new placement. Final results are effectively permanent, though results may vary if the patient gains or loses significant weight.

Combination Procedures
